Artificial Intelligence is entering our world; there's not really a choice we can make about it. It arrives in education, at work, but also when we simply search the Internet - the AI answer is at the top.

Ignoring it is one option, but knowing how it works, what it can do and what it can't - and knowing where it fails is much better. AI is not going to make humans obsolete, but it changes how we do things, and helps with some of them. We compare it to an additional ninth sense available to us humans. That's where our company name comes from.

We have written extensively about how AI works, how it affects the way we work and learn and how it changes teaching. Now we have decided to make our knowledge available to everyone. For free, with no strings attached.

The reason is simple. AI literacy should not be something you have to buy; it's something you should have learned in school, yet schools have only recently started to tacitly approach the subject.

The basic course is currently available in multiple languages, teacher and student versions only as English and German beta versions. More languages will follow soon.

AI literacy for employees
(and anyone else)

Our AI literacy course for employees is designed around basic AI knowledge, how it works, and what rules to observe in the workplace.

This course is a first step towards AI literacy demanded by Art. 4 of the EU AI Act. For companies that do not introduce specific AI systems beyond chatbots, it should already cover the necessary basics required by it.

It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and contains a graded exam at the end. After completion, a certificate can be downloaded. and verified by the employer.

Participation is completely anonymous and doesn't require any transmission of personal data. Certificate creation requires entering the participant's name. This personal data will never stored on our systems and only entered into the certificate.

Two more courses will follow shortly; they should cover the most relevant uses in organizations without specific AI systems:

  • General LLM use (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • Microsoft Copilot use (in MS Office integrations)

AI literacy for teachers

Learning and teaching are massively affected by AI, in good and bad ways. For teachers, it is essential that they stay on top of it, understand the technology and its implications for learning. We offer a first starter course for teachers that should help.

We have also written about AI detection in much detail, an important topic for student work evaluation.

Soon, we will include materials for K-12, high school and university students, providing the necessary information about AI.

We are currently working on 4 courses:

  • AI for K-12 (primary school)
  • 3 courses on AI for high school and students (general and specific use for school/university)
